Professor Diane Touliatos Endowed Annual Lecture in Greek Studies: “Ancient Greek Poetry and Hymnography” Dr. Nick Giannoukakis. Thursday, January 18th. 7:00 pm Reception, 7:30 pm Lecture. GOYA (9-12th grades): Saturday, January 20th. 

  

Sunday School Teaching Liturgy: Sunday, January 21st at 9:45 am. Fr. Anastasios will serve a teaching Liturgy for children in grades 3 through High School. Please come to the Philoptochos by 9:45 am in order to experience the entire Divine Liturgy and receive explanations for the different elements that make up this holiest of services.

 

AOC (Adult Orthodox Christians): Join us for a potluck dinner and discussion on Saturday, January 27th at 6:00 pm at the home of Tonis and Laurie Zafiropoulos. Please call Laurie at 314-496-5861 to coordinate a dish to share.

 

Annual Appreciation Luncheon: Following Divine Liturgy on Sunday, January 28th. Assumption Church Spiritual Retreat: Join the parishioners of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in welcoming Fr. Theodore Dorrance and the Byzantine singers of Eikona for a spiritual retreat Friday, February 9th – Sunday, February 11th.  For more information, click here.

Soup Sunday Luncheon: The Assumption Ladies Philoptochos presents a soup luncheon on Sunday, March 11th after Divine Liturgy. $10 per person. Proceeds to benefit Philoptochos charities.
